: only if you've got a great clutch (read "race clutch") and are using at least drag radials. otherwise you'll kill the clutch launching with such high boost, so you have to slip a "lesser" clutch some. the reason you need drag radials is because the momentum/power of the engine will cause normal street tires to instantaneously spin, with the traction control unit controlling the spin about a second later. BUT, if you want to launch with say only 1 or 2psi of boost, it will be easier on both your clutch and tires.
